THINGS TO LOOK FOR AT THRIFT STORES THAT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY: MY SHOPPING HACKS AND TIPS!

Second-hand shopping. I guess it makes the word thrifting sound soo much better. Well to make you feel better here are some items that I think will benefit you and your wallet for a lifetime!

1. Trench Coats

Trench Coats are one of those classic trendy pieces that I think will never go out of style. Trench coats can also be very expensive if you are like me quality matters more than quantity. Thrifting your trench will save you tons and tons of money without having to break the bank. Now just because I said to thrift your trench coat doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t buy a brand NEW trench coat. This is just a way for me to say instead of spending money on trench coats check out the thrift store first before swiping that card.

2. Blazers

Listen ..listen …LISTEN! Blazers are a MUST! My top secret on where to shop for blazers is in the men’s department. I highly recommend trying it and checking them out! Never overlook an oversize blazer because you can always get it tailored to your liking.

3. Trousers

When it comes to trousers I love to keep them simple but lately, I’ve been loving a good statement piece. As far as spending I’ve learned that thrifting for trousers will actually benefit you in a great way and that is with money of course! I love thrifting for my trousers in the men’s department because A. has great quality B. I always run into amazing brands some I’ve heard of and some I’ve never heard of and C. THE FITTING IS AMAZING FOR US THICK MADEM! I highly recommend checking them out! And if you want them to look tailored well take it to the tailor DUH!

4. White Button Down

A good button-down is a must and of course quality matters! Thrifting a button-down has always been my vibe and once again the men’s department is a place where I go for a great quality button-down. I love how I can purchase a brand quality for a cheaper price. I highly recommend you to shop everything button-down at the thrift store and not only a white button-down.

5. Crewnecks & Hoodies

Crewnecks and hoodies are some of my favorite things to wear regardless of the weather and for me, because I wear them a lot it’s important to have enough of these two items in my closet. The great thing about thrifting for your crewneck is you get to end up finding a vintage, college, and basic crewneck/hood for a much cheaper price compare to someone who paid full price. SO whenever you are outside …..Check out your local thrift store for some crewnecks and hoodies.

WOwwwzzerr ! Now you can finally look good and on a budget. I understand that not everyone likes thrifting ( I didn’t either) but try it out… Open-mindedness is the single most important characteristic we have as human beings. To be open-minded means to remove your personal biases and prejudices from any situation and completely immerse yourself in another experience.
